Faro self-guided city quest: Mysteries of Old Faro

A walking quest through the walled Old Town of Faro, the capital of the Algarve. You play on your phone at your own pace.

The route starts at the big FARO letters by the marina and leads through the Arco da Vila into the old town inside the walls. At every stop you read a short story about the place and solve a puzzle hidden in what you see around you.

Along the way you meet the many layers of Faro’s past — from the ancient port of Ossónoba to the bishops and kings whose monuments still stand in the old town.
